Our client is a law firm specializing in land matters from buying & selling land, property succession matters, & land cases litigation. They were based in Chuka, Mount Kenya.
Our client was worried about investing time and money into a website that might not bring in clients and end up being a waste. They had already heard horror stories of such experiences. They also feared that if we marketed them nationally, they might struggle to deliver to clients outside their area. Another concern was that potential clients would insist on meeting in person before making payments, creating logistical challenges.
When our client joined us, they had just opened their own practice after three years of employment. At that point, they had no clear system for acquiring clients. They depended on referrals and occasional meetings with prospects, hoping to convert them.
We noticed they believed that being excellent at their work—which they truly are—would be enough to attract clients. However, we helped them see that relying only on unpredictable referrals was not a sustainable way to grow a new practice.
Our goal was clear: build their online presence, increase website traffic and inquiries, and improve conversions to raise their revenue by 40% within 12 months. As a key milestone, we also aimed to ensure the website paid for itself within the first three months.
We began a small SEO and Content Marketing campaign together in August 2024. By December of the same year, they had already recovered the initial cost of their website. We began by calling nine of their former clients to understand what truly mattered to them. At the same time, we researched target keywords and mapped them to new website pages. Each page was then optimized for a specific keyword, which became critical in helping the site rank effectively.
Next, we collaborated with our client to create authentic content tailored to their audience. We also designed a clear internal linking structure, making it easier for search engines to quickly grasp the site’s purpose.
Finally, we discovered that many potential clients had questions they needed answered before booking a land dispute consultation. To guide them through this stage of the buying journey, we wrote blog posts and optimized existing web pages to address those questions directly—removing barriers and encouraging more inquiries.
The results were truly transformational for our client’s business. Keyword rankings improved almost immediately after launch, eventually securing a page 1, number one ranking for their main service.
Both organic traffic and conversion rates consistently outperformed expectations every month since the campaign began in August 2024. By December 2024, the client had already achieved a 114.3% return on investment—a full month ahead of our forecast for recouping website costs.
Even more impressive were the conversion results. New visitors didn’t just browse—they picked up the phone, booked paid consultations, and paid without hesitation, despite initial fears that clients would insist on face-to-face meetings first.
